ABAexpert is a therapy platform founded to passionately nurture progress with compassion through Applied Behaviour Analysis. The platform was created to provide evidence based, innovative and leading-edge assessment and interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder and developmental exceptionalities.

Introduction

Wael Al Awabdah MS. ABA. BCBA, IBA

The ABAexpert was born with its own inspiring story. Wael Al Awabdah, the founder of ABAexpert, is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and an International Behaviour Analyst (IBA). He completed his Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in psychological counselling from Damascus University.
With over 13 years of invaluable experience in the field of Behavioural sciences, Wael has served as a Behaviour therapist as well as a Clinical Supervisor.
His Expertise lies in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays, catering to a diverse age range spanning from 1.5 years to 37 years old.
Wael is well-versed in the Verbal Behaviour approach and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He is a highly experienced therapist specializing in early intervention, helping teenagers and adults develop essential self-management skills to improve their well-being.
Along with his Clinical work, Wael has organized and led various training programs targeting therapists, parents, teachers, special educators, and heads of Inclusion Departments across Dubai. In collaboration with inclusion departments at schools, he has successfully facilitated the integration of children with Autism into mainstream educational settings.
Additionally, Wael assists in creating personalized Positive Behaviour Reduction Plans for students facing social and emotional difficulties, thus promoting their overall well-being and academic success.
